In 2016, Dr. Regina English received the Be U Award in recognition of her authenticity and commitment to being unapologetically herself. The award inspired her to formally establish Be You AKA Be U, building on years of mentoring and empowering young people. The organization encourages youth to embrace their identities, develop confidence, and pursue meaningful futures. Its work is grounded in the Southeast Colorado Springs community where Dr. English raised her family, operates a business, and continues to serve.
